    TAXI SERVICE
    We offer a licensed Taxi Sevice on Moreton Island, based at Bulwer. Our service vehicle is a Toyota Landcruiser 4WD Troopcarrier, licensed to carry 10 passengers (in comfort), to your choice of destinations anywhere on the Island.We can transport parties of 1 to 150 persons.Transfers from "MiCat" at the Wrecks to campsites in the National Park or to accommodation at Tangalooma or in the townships of Bulwer and Cowan-Cowan.

    Discover the magic of Moreton Island.Join us on an affordable "PRIVATE" Tour of the Island's ecological and scenic attractions with a local resident guide with intimate Island knowledge of some 25 years.
    Flexible tour agendas.
    Tours depart from the arrival points of  the "MiCat" at the Wrecks  or from your choice of campsite or accommodation anywhere on Moreton Island.
    DAY PICNIC / SNORKEL / FISHING / WHALE WATCH TRIPS.
    We can transport your party to any destination on the Island and arrange a return pickup later on the same day.
    Snorkel at the Tangalooma Wrecks or visit the Tangalooma Resort for the day.
    Swim/surf/fish at North Point, the Champagne Pools, Honeymoon Bay, or at the Blue Lagoon or Surf Beach.
    Why not take a trip to Kooringal for a meal and drink at the famous "Gutter Bar".
    We will ensure that your excursion is organised to suit the conditions of this rather isolated paradise so that your experience is a safe and memorable one.
    ACCOMMODATION
    We can arrange overnight/weekend/weekly accommodation in the townships of Bulwer, Cowan-Cowanor at Tangalooma Resort.
    We offer our own accommodation -"Red Sunset Holiday Units" - view our website at www.moretonisland.net.au
    Camping is allowed on 98% of Moreton Island under the control of Qld. National Parks and Wildlife Services with facilities at 3 campgrounds on the Western (calmwater) side and 2 on the Northern and Eastern (surf) side of the Island.
    There are numerous established bush campsites all around the National Park.

    EXAMPLE OF FARES
    All trips are quoted on the carrying capacity of the vehicle (i.e:- per load not per person).  The Taxi carries 10 passengers (allow less with luggage/ camping equipment).

    - Bulwer or Comboyuro Campgrounds- to Cowan Cowan $40 per trip
    - to Tangalooma Resort, the Wrecks and Ben-ewa $80 e/w.
    - to North Point, Cape Moreton $120 per trip,$240 return.
    - to Blue Lagoon and Surfside $120 per trip, $240 return.
    - to Sadhills, Kooringal $180 per trip.
    FROM - "MiCAT" at the Wrecks
    Our service is based at Bulwer, to service trips from MiCat we have to allow for travel time from Bulwer to the Wrecks. We aknowledge that transfers to Tangalooma only require a short trip, but it is the time involved travelling to provide the service that adds the extra cost.  However the vehicle will carry 10 passengers or a considerable amount of luggage.
    - transfers to Tangalooma Resort or Cowan Cowan $80 per load
    - transfers to Hilltop estate behind Resort $95 per load 
    - to Bulwer, Comboyuro Campground $80 per trip, $160 ret
    - to Blue Lagoon, Surfside $120 per trip, $240 return.
    - to Cape Moreton, North Point, Yellowpatch $150, $300 ret.
    - to Kooringal, Sandhills $180 per trip (tides permitting).

    4WD ISLAND TOURS
    We are Island based at Bulwer, tours depart from the landing point of the "MiCAT" at the Wrecks or from your choice of campsite or accommodation anywhere on the Island.
    ISLAND HIGHLIGHTS TOUR - TOUR #1 - duration approx. 4hrs.
    - visits North Point, Champagne Pools, Honeymoon Bay, Cape Moreton Lighthouse, Blue Lagoon, Surfside, the  Wrecks, Tangalooma Resort, Cowan and Bulwer.
    COST -1 to 4 persons $195 total - each additional person over 5yrs (up to 10 total per vehicle) - add $25 p.p/
    ULTIMATE TOUR - TOUR #2 - duration approx. 5hrs.
    - visits all the above and includes a sand tobogganing  excursion to the Desert.
    COST - 1 to 4 persons $225 total - each additional person over 5yrs (up to 10 total per vehicle) - add $30 p.p
    SAND TOBOGGANING TOUR - duration approx. 3hrs.
    - sand toboggan at the Desert (boards supplied).
    COST - 1 to 4 persons $150 total - each additional person over 5yrs (up to 10 total per vehicle) - add $20 p.p
